Woke late but started the day with a poem revision. Even with all the busyness and list of things to do today. It was very satisfying. I’m not sure about the poem, but I improved it. I worked on it. And I was happy. I swam also. No walk. I miss the river. Tomorrow to the river. Tonight was special in the midst of a busy errand day. Just me and Frank in a quiet lovely house. I made dinner. He put on the Christmas music. Lit the fire. Just me and Frank and the fire and the elves and my delicious meal. Sigh. After dinner and talking and catching up, while Frank put the lights on the tree while I baked two batches of cookies for Wave’s teacher gifts tomorrow. The holiday show. Tonight I really enjoyed the evening, the music, the firelight, the delicious smell of cookies baking. Even the online shopping we did together for Wave.
