ABOUT KELLY DUMAR
Kelly DuMar is a poet, playwright and workshop facilitator from Boston. She’s author of three poetry chapbooks, 'girl in tree bark' (Nixes Mate, 2019), 'Tree of the Apple,' (Two of Cups Press), and 'All These Cures,' (Lit House Press). Her poems, prose and photos are published in many literary journals Kelly is a past board member of the International Women's Writing Guild, where she ran the annual weeklong Play Lab, the annual Boston Writing Retreat, and she produced the online Open Mic. Kelly also produced the Our Voices Festival of Women Playwrights at Wellesley College for twelve years. She founded the Farm Pond Writer’s Collective which ran weekly for five years. She currently produces the online Open Mic for the Journal of Expressive Writing. Kelly teaches online for the Transformative Language Arts Network.
