#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Happy December! Thanksgiving was late this year, so December will zoom by. I had a swim and Wave swam around the pool with me. Eager to visit his cousin’s house, he got out when I asked him. Today was cheesepuff making day with my sister and niece at my sister’s house. Franci and I took Wave––his mother had to work––and we drove to the Cape to make the annual holiday appetizer for later in the month. The cheesepuffs are time consuming and we usually make about five batches for multiple parties where they are expected. Cheese must be shredded, eggs whites must be beaten, bread must be de-crusted and sliced into cubes, butter and cheese must be melted, cubes must be dipped and then frozen. . . it’s fun with many hands. I didn’t get to walk, and that was okay. Home to a birthday dinner for my son, his birthday tomorrow, and ALL of us around the table for dinner and the whoopie pies, and then I had a client session and then the final rehearsal, on zoom, of my play that will have a staged reading, in person, on Saturday! It was an excellent rehearsal. It’s going to be amazing.
