#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
It’s lovely to wake up to another warm morning. I thought it would go down to fifty last night; but it was quite pleasant out, I felt, as I went barefoot across the grass to put chicken feed in Fudgy’s bowl. Frank and I woke early, reluctantly. It’s staying dark longer in the morning. I took a nice walk after helping Wave get out the door with his egg sandwich and a cheerful goodbye. His departures are getting to much more mature! Fudgy followed us to his mother’s car and would love to have been invited for the ride. All the foliage is going into the golden rusts, but there is still much bright red. I swam and then called my aunt. I was surprised, as this is the third Thursday in a row that I’ve tried, that she did want to let me take her shopping at Talbot’s. So, I hopped in the car and drove out there. There’s a Talbot’s right near her, her favorite store. She bought some nice clothes. I drove home happy to have had some time with her. Tonight, led my Journal of Expressive Writing Open Mic featuring four poets who also happen to be my friends. It was a lovely evening.
