The effervescent morning brook

It’s lovely to wake to blue sky, and to see that sky as light in the bubbling brook. After a good night’s sleep. After morning wrestling with Wave. Our latest game: The Kingsbury Crunch. Started in the pool. I squeeze him into a trap made with my legs, closing them like scissors on him. He can’t get enough of it. The challenge of breaking free. Using all his muscles, twisting and turning. Again, again, again. So, I’m getting a decent workout before breakfast. His mother today wants a pancake. He wants a dipping egg. Then they are off. I have a great swim and there is a voice saying hello! It’s Frank, home from his latest trip! Now the house feels exactly right. I have a busy day, my three-group Wednesday, Craft, Israeli, and then I produced my showcase for my play lab tonight on Zoom. Eight new monologues. Whew! It was powerful. We had a great audience. I think it went really well. Three busy busy days. And the good news of the morning with me, happiness, all day. I love Wisconsin!
