#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Collage: Nosara, Costa Rica & Charles River Images this winter
I have always felt that everyone is creative. That we actually are creating all the time. We’re like buzzing little creativity machines, constantly imagining and thinking and moving ideas around, and designing our environments, picking out our clothes, cooking leftovers, cutting our kids’ hair. Even our individual signatures are expressions of creativity.

Frank is home and the house feels happy to have him. Wave right into our room upon awakening, asking Frank about the time he was bit by a scorpion in Costa Rica. (I recently told him and he has been dying to hear it directly from Frank.) This boy is having a growth spurt. Ate two dipping eggs plus a crepe. Tonight, after going out to dinner with his mother and friends he asked Frank to make him some shrimp scampi! Which Frank was happy to do, of course. Today was a lighter day. Hair appointment after my swim. No walk today. I wanted to at least get across the yard to the river, but it didn’t happen. My friend came for tea which was delightful. Tonight, hosted the Journal of Expressive Writing Open Mic, featuring author Nancy Slonim Aronie from Chilmark on Martha’s Vineyard. She was wonderful and the whole event was a delight. More heavy rain today melting the snow. Melting the ice. Spring forward this weekend. Spring forward.
