#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

“The way to read a fairy tale is to throw yourself in.”

Sausalito has been so sunny and warm. We are always in view of the water, the boats, the succulents and green grass and blooming flowers. I love being here! We walked the dogs by the Bay and had coffee to start the day. A less active day in some ways, but very relaxing and fun. We both did a little work. I prepped for my group, prepped for my upcoming Monologue Showcase, and caught up on emails. Talked to Frank. Haven’t seen him in so long! To LA tomorrow to attend AWP. Meeting my friend Jenny at airport. Then on to the conference! I will very much miss being here, however, with my dear friend Liz. In the late afternoon, I led my Tuesday night writers from here. I was on Zoom in my room, and Liz, who is in this workshop with me, was in hers. So fun to lead with us both in this house! Loved the group. Such great sharing. I need to miss my Israeli group tomorrow, sadly, as I’ll be en route to the conference. In a year and a half I think I’ve had to miss it once. Spring is in my mind, body and spirit. I know when I get home, and it’s almost April, so many signs of spring will have come to riverwoods. I will also miss my friend’s dogs, Charlie’s old pals from years past. Sigh.
