#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Friends & Flowers––Thank you, Deb!
Ahhhhh. The rain the rain the rain the rain still coming down on the snow. Ice and snow and rain and slush. It’s February in this land. And I’m still glad to be home as I listen tonight to the rain pound. There will be flooding around. The yards are wet. Everything’s wet. Wave is grieving the snow is going and has hardly been here long enough. At noon we went out in it. Made some snowballs. Threw some snowballs. It started raining so hard we had to go in, soaking wet and cold. There was much fun today. Starting with dinosaurs. Some I’ve never heard the name of before, but he knows them. Mostly I am pterodactyl. We play trouble. We play Candy Land. I do laundry and unpack. We play Twister. We play with his new fish and fishing pole game. We go in the afternoon to play pickle, me, Franci, Will and my son and Frank gives Wave a tennis lesson. I made a wonderful dinner while they watch a movie. And they appreciate it. And I have the energy and it’s a pleasure. My poem draft worked on a bit tonight and sent off. I feel that I took it somewhere and I’m eager to hear how it lands. Speaking of land. Perhaps when we wake in the morning we will be floating.
Our last night, with Valentines all
