How is it that I didn’t even have a moment to take a photo today? I am so glad to be here, tonight, in Bristol, with so many old and new writing friends and colleagues. What a joy to pick Maureen Murdock and Myra Shapiro up at the train in Providence to deliver us to Roger Williams University in Bristol. In my dorm room, a shared suite, bare bones college dorm, I actually have a view of the ocean! The grounds are lovely and I plan to get up early for a walk and exploration. Said goodbye to my friend Tonya who will stay over at home and leave tomorrow, and of course, I will miss my plants and hope they get watered and trust the dogs will be fed and get their medicine.
