#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Happiness is a campfire by the river after dark, followed by still warm, fresh-baked blueberry cake, made with organic blueberries picked by hand from the bush. My daughter Franci baked the cakes after I made dinner and the requests for the cake could not be put off any longer. I did the clean up. Then, all of us out into the buggy night for a campfire for Wave. Brittany and Charlie too, while I made four trips back to the house to check on the progress of the cakes in the oven. Tonight there was a pink cloud sunset, the sky clearing of the thick gray cloud layer of the last three days. Tomorrow, bright sunshine again. No need to water today as the showers came and went, came and went and the earth is wet. I had an image accepted by a journal today, very quick turnaround for a new journal. I like to support first issues of new journals. Tweaked a new poem started last week. Tired tonight, and satisfied by a rich and rewarding day.
