Morning Brook

I expected to be tired this morning. But woke early, with energy. Got ready for my swim. My youngest also up early. We decide to drive to my nephew’s house to retrieve her wallet and phone, left behind, and it’s nice to get the time with her to chat. She drops me at the pond after, and I dive in for a good, long swim and i feel great. it paid off, taking a break yesterday. The sun is lovely, It’s hot already and i walk home through the woods. Frank is so amazingly active every day, after tennis, he crashes, and I see that he is going to have a well deserved day of rest. And he does. Wave home tonight, and we have a final birthday celebration for Frank with cake for Wave. Tonight, drafted a poem. Not sure it’s working. Not sure I like it. Have to sleep on it. Will look at it early before sending it off. Just need to let it be what it is. A first draft, brand new.
