#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Frank and I, both awake in the middle of the night, watch the French Open for awhile, and it’s kind of fun. Except we’re not in Paris. Still, summer is here. Today I am grateful that it’s still May for one more day, and summer hasn’t officially started, and yet we’ve had summer-like weather. The rain yesterday did great things for the plants. The sunflowers are sprouting. The peas are climbing. The tomatoes are forming their little round bodies. My herbs are wonderful except my basil. Over by the outdoor shower the beach roses and azalea are and bee balm are in bloom. After I bought some bushes, some holly, I go to the club pool with my daughters and Wave who runs through the water park and I have to chase him. Tonight, I am home alone, and I water the garden in the early evening, grateful for many things. The service planning for my uncle is coming along well and I know it will be a very special event for all of us, particularly my aunt.
