May is for Maple Wings

All day in yard, raking, cleaning up, Frank in the garden clearing and prepping the boxes for plants. It was a bit cool, and sometimes sunny. In the garden I was glad to realize, here we are again, me and Frank working together on this space. Meanwhile, in the afternoon, I received a text with wonderful pictures, sent by my daughter who went with her cousin to pick up my aunt and take her to see my uncle––with Brittany! And my uncle was awake and alert and clearly enjoying his two grand nieces and his wonderful dog. My aunt told me on the phone this morning when I called to give her the day’s visitor plan that everyone in memory care is amazed at how much family she has. I felt so happy to hear this. And so happy to see my uncle alert and happy and enjoying his visit.
