#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
It’s worth it to get up early to fly when the airport is not yet busy. Smooth departure and arrival in Phoenix, and.a picturesque drive to Sedona. The cottonwoods are gold! The open sky, all blue. On the plane I got work done, revised a poem, felt relaxed. Today was all about arrival. I had one group to run online at the end of the day, and it was a pleasure: my Play Lab. I love teaching monologue, and especially in this middle section when the monologues are really developing and the participants are feeling challenged and hopeful. We had a very stimulating session. Then a casual dinner with Frank. The sun was quite hot today, delicious. We ate lunch outdoors and I was hot. Tonight, after sundown, it’s cool. Tomorrow we have our adventure to the Grand Canyon. I am feeling very centered and insightful about life. There is so much churning for so many people I know and love right now. I am concentrating on my breath. I am concentrating on compassion, including toward myself. The cottonwoods are a great reminder; I am listening.
