#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
A new day and my swim is wonderful after tending the plants. I have many good ideas while I swim. I am thinking about my new manuscript. I am realizing I need to be generating more than a poem a week. Later in the day, I revise an old poem, quite an old one, into a poem for the manuscript, and there may be others. All day swings of enthusiasm and doubt. I had a lovely surprise in the mail from my friend from Ukraine, a lovely hanging ornament as a Thanksgiving wish. It’s a cheerful design and I am so happy to have it. Friendship is such a warming, stimulating energy added to the day and I had much of it today. And also a pedicure. A pedicure is a cheerful thing. Also, butternut squash soup. With fresh sage and rosemary (from my indoor garden!) and a little dried ginger. My daughter made homemade bread, and this is also a cheerful thing. Laughter too. A sign of a shifted perspective. The river and friendship, surprises in the mail, butternut squash soup and a suitcase packed. Cock a doodle doo.
