Pastel Morning, Miami Beach

The bliss of a little rest and softness of sky and air. A cloudy day, a windy day. A day of walking by the sea, and poetry workshops, morning and evening, and writing in between. Long talk with a dear friend, long talk with my daughter. Long talk with a collaborator. The feeling of having psychic energy and thinking energy and balanced emotions and patience and clarity. And to share that with others. I’m so relieved for this brief and satisfying and restorative break. A refreshment of my senses. Filled up to the brim by this day of poetry.
