Where your fear is, there is your task. Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain. Intuition does not denote something contrary to reason, but something outside of the province of reason! Remember, creative power is mightier than its possessor. The meaning of your existence is that life has addressed a question to you. Or, conversely, you yourself are a question which is addressed to the world, and you must communicate your answer, for otherwise you are dependent upon the world’s answer. You have forgotten the age-old fact that God speaks chiefly through dreams and visions. There is a thinking in primordial images, in symbols which are older than the historical human, which are inborn in you from the earliest times, eternally living, outlasting all generations, still make up the groundwork of the human psyche. It is only possible to live the fullest life when you are in harmony with these symbols; wisdom is a return to them.
