Morning River Fog

A smoky river fog rising early from the river. Up and out so that I could meet Frank at the grocery store after my walk by 8:00 a.m. A big shop for our Martha’s Vineyard trip. I didn’t sleep that deeply, but it has been a very busy day and I’m tired tonight. Fun, off to a movie tonight with my dear friend, saw Barbie and laughed a lot. I made two squash from the garden quiches before I left and they came out perfect even though I was in a hurry. Didn’t even make it into the garden today! But I did get a good draft of my 2nd craft article before taking a lovely swim in the late afternoon. And we have a new water tank to replace the old one. For days the pipes have been singing a high pitched song, a warning, and they finally came today. The windows are wide open and the crickets are noisy and the pipes are silent.
