Eastern Bluebird

Charlie and I really enjoyed our morning walk. It was overcast and humid and there were bugs. But the most sweet, charming, Eastern Bluebird sat on top of a bird box by the Charles. I also saw a red headed woodpecker, so bright red-headed. Charlie had a lovely swim at the canoe landing. Today was just a wonderful Sunday of family being around. I thought I would get some writing done, but summer and family time took over in a great way. Tonight we celebrated two birthdays: Frank’s, tomorrow, and my daughter’s boyfriends, Friday. Lobsters and fresh veggies from the garden! I cooked the MOST delicious fresh green beans, and lettuce and even some of our first tomatoes. There were presents, and affirmations, and games of hide and seek to keep a special one entertained.
