Spoiler alert: the tomatoes are not ripe. My swim was wonderful. Such a sunny day; outdoors all day. I have listened to two books on Audible this week: “Girl at War,” a novel about Croatia/Yugoslavia and the war she came of age in. And Maggie Smith’s memoir about her divorce, “You could make this place beautiful.” Both well produced and very compelling. Excellent reads. Tonight at dinner, me and Frank, he said the sweetest things about the happiness of a long marriage and friendship. I watered the garden and found a baby sunflower.
