#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Back into the pool and a nice swim before my walk with Charlie. I find my first bouquet of maple wings on the brook. Every walk lately is full of surprise and delight. It’s wonderful to be outdoors. Frank and I have a long talk after we wake up, over coffee. A lovely way to start the day. In the afternoon Franci and I went to Tatte for coffee to go over another batch of the poems that she will perform. We go into the studio on Friday to videotape. I’m excited to see what happens. Tonight I find more about the maple wings that I have made previous springs: an excerpt of my poem, “Samara,” and one of my photos, and a collage I made some years ago celebrating the maple wings. Then, reading time with the special one, our favorite books, and a favorite time of day.
