#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Ice sculpture found in brook
Yes, it was frigid. Ice back on the river and brook. I walked Charlie, briefly, after my swim. Today I worked on a poem revision. Lots of distractions, though, and I didn’t get done as much as I’d hoped. Made pizza for the family and headed out to Cambridge, Harvard Square. All the lights! It was fun riding in and walking through the Square to the Grolier Poetry Shop in the bright and busy city at night. Such a small, intimate reading. Tom Daley opened the evening of the three poets who read: Dale Cottingham, Matthew E. Henry and April Ossmann. Tom gave me gift: a print of the wonderful sketch he made of me from the back last spring at my book launch reading with Lily Poetry. Very sweet of him to give me this print. A lovely, lively fresh air walk back to my, click of my heels on the sidewalk.
