Back to the pool, and a good swim to start the day. Then, into the woods with Charlie. River and wetlands swollen. Ice coming. It’s very peaceful. Seeing all the water still and becoming glassy. Homecomings today and the house filling back up cheerfully. Time with my youngest and lunch with my dear friend. Satisfied with the work I got done today. Moving swiftly into holiday mode now. Pickle tonight with friends and good exercise. The fun of imagining a new adventure exploring a new place next year. And then home to my grandson, waiting and ready for our play time. And now, beside me in bed, playing with toys and just being happy to be beside me.
