What a lovely day shaped by a clear sky. Somehow, with my quick breakfast help, Wave has gotten up and out the door in twenty minutes a few days this week, and smiling! November so far is cheerful and sunny––hooray. After a wonderful swim, I take Charlie to the river and brook. A client, and then I am treated to lunch by my dear friend, for my birthday, our annual ritual, just the two of us, with so much to catch up on. My son offered to take me on a birthday hike this morning, but I couldn’t squeeze it in. Here is one big thing I accomplished today that I felt good about accomplishing. Three baskets of laundry folded. Walked past them for days. Dumped them on my bed so that they would surely get done. And so they did. Pickle ball tonight with friends, an evening of fun. I am welcoming November; the change of time comes this weekend too.
