Frank left early for his happy place: hint. His happy place involves the twelve steps and he finds one wherever he goes. My happy place: walking. And I just headed out the door, not knowing where to walk. And I didn’t find a great walking area, but he called me, after his meeting, found me, picked me up and dropped me along the harbor where I walked in the delicious sunshine. Oh, how good it felt to be warm warm under the blue sky! We had a lovely day hanging out in Charleston with his father and Cindy. Absolute best part of my day: we went to Sullivan’s Island, and found a lovely beach, and my daughter and I swam in the cold waves. As we waded in, we did a little bit of Playback with each other. I actually didn’t want to get out, it was so refreshing and the sun was warm on my shoulders. But she got chilled and so we did. Ended up walking nine miles today. A bunch of fun meals, no schedule, ending the evening with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. We waited in a 40-minute line on King Street and it was worth it! Saw so many butterflies today. What a cheerful day.
