Brook after the storm

Charlie was happy––we skied early. There was just enough snow for a good one past the brook into the woods. The swim came later, an afternoon with the special one, splashing in the pool. I give him a lesson. My showcase tonight was pretty amazing. Excellent attendance and the plays were brilliantly acted. It’s such an exciting and satisfying project! I feel a bit distracted to write tonight. The day has been so full, start to finish. So many different pieces and emotions. But, tonight, seeing the performances take flight in front of such a responsive audience, I was very moved and grateful to collaborate with such talented and generous people. I must sleep.
