Late Afternoon Charles River

Awake too early, coughing a good amount in the night, with Frank’s cold. Frank and my daughter left the house early on a day trip, and I went to sleep. Before noon, found the energy for a short walk and a bit of raking. Quiet yard, quiet house. I wanted to use the quiet time to write, but not with a fuzzy head. My creative energy was lower than my physical energy. I was happy when they drove in, late afternoon, and found me raking in the sun. Quiet broken, and I was glad of it. Walked to the river with Frank and checked our reflection in the rippling fresh water.
