#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
. . . Want the change. Be inspired by the flame
where everything shines as it disappears. . .~ Excerpt from Sonnets to Orpheus, Part Two, XII, by Rainer Maria Rilke
I love my morning bird in the brook with its shadow. Such a lovely surprise. I am having so much happiness with winter ice. And, before my walk I slipped out of the house at sunrise—a stunning pink and orange sky-blast of beauty—I went for a swim at the pool. Such a lovely day, starting with my exercise indoors and outdoors, and the pleasure of putting things away in our newly renovated areas. We have a mud room closet now, and Frank and I worked on that together. He is so happy to be home all week, working a bit, and enjoying settling in to the new home. Play tonight, with my daughter, her boyfriend, and our friends: pickleball! I am quite tired tonight from all of this activity. And mindful of changes that will come in 2023. And wanting to move into change with and open heart and mind. With equanimity. With agility. With trust.
