An early swim. Happy to be back in the pool! Missed my swim the past five or six days since getting thrown off my ritual from the stomach virus. But I never made it out for a walk with Charlie. The day’s demands at home took over. Watching the special one, doing errands, having a mammogram. Tonight we all packed into my car and the six of us went into the Prudential Center in Boston to have dinner, do returns, and finish shopping––the last of the Christmas gift giving. It was a festive, playful evening. My Ukrainian support group met this morning, and it was very moving to talk about the experience of the group on the cusp of the new year. Agreement among all: it’s working very well. Support is being shared. The connections are deep and meaningful. We have established a special bond.
