March sun

There was Monday sun, a morning of less ice, more water. In the meadow stands a birdhouse and this knot of yellow in the wood, like a sun, a sun on this house. There was a swan, a pair of mallards, they like to be on the water, near each other. I like to be near them, on the edge. Today was not a writing day, but I had a poem from the letters and brought it to Monday night workshop and got great feedback. And I have not made the progress on the poems from letters that I had planned; but I made such good progress on poem revisions over the weekend that I am feeling grateful for the energy of revision. Oh, I think before I walked today, I did find new endings for two poems that feel more satisfying now. Yes, I almost forgot the new endings.
