Cattail

Even a snow crusted cattail

is fraying the marsh, morning is

coming undone, why naming it

seems to scratch up a rash

who has not felt claws -

coming from her or toward her

whose raw skin is ever spared:  jealousy

is not enjoying her success

advantage is resentment if

she has gained

[everything] 

you more rightfully deserve: 

anguish
