#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Rocky Narrows with Franci, Taylor, Will, young Dusty, and Dusty and LUCY!
Nice surprises. Star of the day, my niece, Lucy, and her mom and dad, to the house for a mid-day spontaneous visit. Oh, to hold the little package of loveliness called Lucy! Lucy friendly and happy to be in all of our arms. I was delighted to receive a call late morning from my nephew offering to come by. All my three kids available too, and Frank. So I ordered pizza and we had an impromptu lunch with Lucy and then my brother came by too so we all went for a hike in Rocky Narrows. Such a sweet reminder of when we took all the kids on hikes, except they were the babies! So, I had two hikes today, as I went out in the morning for a refreshing walk by myself. No swim today. I wanted to walk more. It feels so good to walk. And then we had a clean up morning, donating furniture, moving stuff out. Also a trip to the recycling station with my daughter, and I managed to keep her from bringing anything home with us! In the late afternoon, a very necessary and delicious nap. Then to the Circle of Friends Coffeehouse in Franklin, MA, where we saw Joe Crookston perform, and realized it was five years ago almost to the day that we first saw him in Sarasota at a coffee house. A lovely weekend day. Except all of us missing Wave. To bed grateful.
