Worked on my new poem and I liked where it got to. A decent draft. A walk. A windy day, river rippling. No ice. Lovely bit of sun on the bubbling brook. A swim. More work. The reward of Wave’s return. He took his dinner in our room. Made by me and Frank. Delivered by me and Frank. A very sweet time. Tonight I attended an online workshop that featured a reading by Jane Hirshfield. She looked with her beautiful eyes right into the camera as she read her new year poems. Profound.
