Frank and I sleep in a little bit. The house is quiet. January quiet. I decided to just walk and take my time in the woods with Charlie. There is a very fine, thin layer of snow over all the ice. Today I had the pleasure of picking up Wave from school. We got to pretend all the way home. He has grown into a stage of prolonged role playing. I am a witch who he has sprinkled with magic dust so I am good. He is eager to take me to the trampoline play area and show me all of the fun that can be had there. We get his mom and head over there. Meet his friends. And, still, on the way home, I am the good witch. And today I made my flights to AWP which will be in Los Angeles this year (The Association of Writers & Writers Programs) at the end of March. With a quick trip to see my dear friend in San Francisco first. The ceasefire deal makes progress.
