A day of sunshine and storm. My friend from Ukraine arrived late last night with her dog. It’s wonderful to have them here again. I swam early. In the afternoon my friend and I drove to Plymouth to see my friend from San Francisco, and she drove us out on Plymouth Beach as a storm approached. The sky shot with lightning–quite dramatic, and since I’m not a fan of lightening, also scary! But a beautiful beach, a walk, and then it poured. We were going to the Spire Center for the Arts in Plymouth to see an acoustic duo, Goodnight Moonshine. The downpour was crazy! A real washout. We ran down the wet streets to find a place for shelter and a bite to eat. Soaked. But soon warm and cozy in a sweet restaurant for a casual, delicious dinner. Drying off. The music was wonderful. Lovely to get out on a weeknight, even in the storm.
