Happy Summer Solstice, Full Moon, Bodrum, Turkey

Fresh day, first day of summer! And our friend Geoff’s birthday. So we have a birthday, a full moon, and the first day of summer. Again, it’s cloudless and hot. My friend Ed and I, after breakfast by the pool with Frank, go for a stroll to see the water. We walk through the city for about a half hour, and then we find a place to dip into the lovely sea. Today, we are just here, all day, by the pool at our hotel. Tomorrow we board our boat. Lovely to have a whole day to relax after all of our traveling. Everyone feeling well today, and so we have a celebratory dinner on the water at a delicious restaurant. Frank and I get, to top it all off, a video of Wave from home at Farm pond jumping off the dock. I miss him. But this trip gets better and better. Tomorrow, we leave shore, with plenty of time to study the moon.
