#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Oh Brittany! 5:00 a.m. Really????!!!! I heard her little feet padding down the stairs and hopped out of bed to let her out. Actually, I had been in the midst of an anxious, intense dream, so she kind of rescued me from that. I am so grateful this week to have the energy and desire to be in the pool doing my laps every day, giving myself even more energy. Today prepped for my Tuesday night and Wednesday morning writers. Wave wasn’t feeling well, so we tried to play in the yard but he wasn’t up to it. In the afternoon, yard work. I cleaned up another small garden and it felt terrific. What a gorgeous day to be outdoors. Then, I wasn’t cooking a big dinner, so I took a relaxing walk up to se the river in the late afternoon light, a favorite time of day. The current was fast from a breeze and the clouds were puffy, reflected on the blue surface. And that reminds me, when Wave and I walked earlier he looked up in appreciation at the delicious “cotton candy clouds.” I am listening to a long audible book on the history of Istanbul since we will have a trip there soon. Istanbul in the garden under a spring sun with a breeze. And the bluebird is back bringing happiness to the yard.
