#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
It was cool and pleasant for my long hike with Charlie in Rocky Narrows. The river is high right now, and some of the trails are too wet to pass. More rain predicted for tomorrow and the situation will be this way for awhile, as it is, typically in March, with snow melt. No snow to melt this year, but so much rain. March, that month of messes all over the yard and woods. Still it’s very nice to be out in the fresh air. I don’t swim today. I need a day of rest and relaxation. Brittany is settling in well. My brother and I talked our aunt and uncle through a tough time on the phone tonight, thankfully. Everyone is adjusting. I had a long long long nap in the afternoon. Started listening to a history of the Ottoman Empire as we are planning a trip to Turkey in June. Made quite a few submissions today. A lot of the day I had a very foggy feeling of not being able to concentrate. Dinner with friends for the trip planning. Time to turn back the clock. And the reward is tomorrow night, the light after dinner will linger and we will start to have time outdoors with my grandson again in the early evening.
