#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Tonight, letting Brittany into the yard, there is a half moon and stars above me. I have played dinosaurs, and cleaned up the kitchen. I have been to a book launch and talk by my friend, Ed Williamson, at Nirvana, his tea house in Millis. I was honored to introduce him for his reading. Seeing him follow his dream of having his book, Feathers on a Pond, published, has been wonderful. It’s a challenging process and it takes a lot of assertiveness and confidence to publish a book, especially your first one. There was sunlight in the current of the brook this morning after my swim. And my poetry workshop went very well; my poem revision was well received. I continue to plan my writing retreat on Friday to work on ordering my manuscript. I am imagining some creative ways to be enthusiastic about this––to find just the right way that will serve my poems and imagination.
