#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Windy weather. A lovely wind, blowing palm branches and leave down. I walked, early, down to Playa Pelada. The wind was blowing the waves into white spray. I had a wonderful time taking pictures of leaves blown from the beach barrier of flowering bushes into the waves and on the rocks and into the tide pools. The breeze kept it from being too hot. I didn’t go as far as yesterday because I had to go back up to the casa for my poetry workshop. That’s when I got really hot. Up the steep hill. It was 93 degrees today. I almost overdid. Frank, after tennis, said he had a similar experience. I really, really enjoyed our poetry workshop this morning. The poems were so good all around, and mine had some appreciative feedback. I am eager to tweak it. We lost power in the afternoon, it was no big deal. Napped and read the Carver biography. Then we all went down for sunset swim. Oh! What an amazing time of day to be on this beach! Dinner in Nosara, casual, since we had lost power. As we returned home, power we had. Grateful for another blissful day, and very tired tonight.
