#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
On days like today, hectic and deeply fulfilling, rain-stormed and slightly rushed, at moments chaotic, at moments, perfect, I create a collage of my pictures from the current season because I haven’t been able to take a new picture today. So, this collage is from this fall. I have so many many autumn photos that I’ve taken that I can hardly believe they all belong to only one season! I keep my photos organized in folders by the season I’m in. On solstice, winter solstice, very soon, I will make a new folder. Today has been rich and moving and meaningful beyond words. Yes, I’m a writer. I should have words. The intimacy and depth of the groups I get to run is amazing. This morning, my Charles River Writers. Yes, in tears. And yes, the deep emotions. And more than that, the really wonderful writing, first drafts that sing! Whoosh. My Israeli support group. The depth of cohesion and support for each other. And tonight, my Play Lab Showcase, an GREAT turnout, a great show. Everybody rising to such a great level, writers, performers, and audience. And, in between all this richness, taking my daughters massive amount s of veggie compost to the heap in the rain. Cleaning up dog poop indoors and pee indoors, two elderly dogs can’t help it. And getting Wave out the door, and picking Wave up in the rain and trying to go to Whole Foods on an errand with him! Fun, but crazy. It’s raining and raining and raining and the wind. The wind a bit wild through it all.
