Frost on everything, it’s lovely. A bright, clear, cold November morning and I am out for a walk. At the brook, which I noticed yesterday for the first time in months was a brook instead of a dry bed, I stood on a rock and bent down to take a picture of some sort, and in I fell. I mean, completely. Feet to forehead, with my phone in my hand as well, all in. Oh well! I needed an immersion to full appreciate the fact that it’s back. I hurried inside, took off my wet things, my shoes full of water, and took my swim. And laughed at myself. I had a client and then the Israeli support group, and both were very worthwhile. We realized, in group today, that our group is one year old and going strong. None of us ever wants to miss it. Then, a quick trip to the supermarket. Frank will cook tomorrow, beef actually. We will have a unique Thanksgiving, here at home, with my son, forest bathing. I wonder if I will swim in the brook again! I started a new poem. Also polished a poem. Then, I cooked a dinner to take to our friends and we had a lovely evening catching up with each other by the fire. This was a lovely bonus to not cooking a feast for tomorrow.
