#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
I believe the reach of the kayak paddle
can part the blue corridor of aloneness,
and that eyes we see in water are never our own.
~ Excerpt from "What I Believe,” by Kimberly Blaeser
Moist morning. So happy to be back in the pool today after at least two weeks! What a blessing to be swimming again. Everything in my mood clicked back into place. I walked first, to be outside in the lovely foliage, passing quickly. I had a great workshop and great feedback on my poem revision in the morning. It was a day of getting things done, too. In the afternoon I got some time with my youngest, driving some errands and having a good catch-up. She helped me pick out the present Frank and I are giving to Wave for his birthday this week. It’s a secret. He will love it. He is turning four. Four! How lucky am I to have had him here, these four years on the river.
