#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Last night, coyotes a startling cacaphony of voices interrupting my sleep. At dinner tonight, it seems Will, my daughter’s boyfriend, was the only other one in the house to hear them. He sat bolt upright in bed, he said. He could hear them running. A pack, or maybe too. My gosh, they were so close to the house. My daughter has a theory that the flooded wetlands have disturbed their usual habits. So glad Charlie was indoors! I had some joy and peace walking the wetlands, looking at ice this morning, before my swim, after W. got out the door with his breakfast to go. Today was my busiest day this week with three groups. I enjoyed them all––critique with my Charles River Writers, the Israeli therapist support group, and my play lab. All very stimulating––and worthwhile for participants, too, I think. Tonight, after dinner, a break. Some housework, which is relaxing after an intense day on Zoom. I have been without a book I’ve wanted to listen to for about a week, but tonight downloaded two memoirs for the price of one on Audible. I will dig in and see how one of them is tonight as I go off to sleep––a sleep that I hope will not be interrupted by the traveling coyotes.
