Poor Charlie, he isn’t happy the car is being packed without a space for him. But he will be well cared for in our absence. We depart early for a weekend on Lake Winnipesaukee with friends. What a wonderful trip to a favorite place! We play all day on the water, in the boat, Frank water skis and I swim in the cold and choppy lovely huge lake under a sky of fabulous clouds and sun. And we play indoors all evening, pool, ping pong. A lovely evening of laughter and joy in a remarkable place with dear friends as August is coming to an end. Moon behind the evergreens over the lake is a bright lamp. On Wednesday it will be a blue moon, and a super moon. Spectaciular!
