#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Cool mornings and evenings already. I wake up after Frank and he kindly brings me coffee before I get up. This cool weather makes me feel like a jog. Somehow Charlie lags and loses me. I jog alone! Then, I am writing, working on poems and there are sweet interruptions. I accept them. The little boy wants a wrestling match with the pillows on my couch. How can I resist this? I do get lots of work done today despite a busy, active household. In the late afternoon my daughter, grandson and I go to Farm Pond. The sun has gone behind the trees and it is fall-cool, but the water is warm. We have many races. And I have my swim around the island. Tonight, I ran a three-hour Play Lab online with a dozen writers in advance of my two monologue showcases in Sept. So I am psyched and also pooped. The energy of the group is invigorating and I’m so grateful to my actors who brought so much talent and depth. Yikes. I need a good night’s sleep.
