#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Oh, such medicine, the green green river in the late afternoon. An infusion of green, I breathe it all in. I have not taken a morning swim or walk. I have not been well today. I was able to run my Ukrainian group, and glad for that. In the very late afternoon I thought of the garden sitting under the cloudless sky, the sun strong all day and went out to water. Then I went to the brook, but I have not seen Papa mallard for two days. He may be gone. The male ducks sit and wait nearby when the female builds her nest, but then they often go. I miss his lively emerald presence. No sign of the mama mallard. Frank comes out onto the deck and sees my watering my flowers and lets me know HE already watered the vegetable garden today. So, they are very well attended to after all. The special one comes home, comes onto the deck and the first thing he says to Frank is, “Are the tomatoes ripe yet?” Oh, my. Then he wants to find the toad we found yesterday, and I am afraid he is nowhere to be found this evening. I very much hope to feel better tomorrow and have the whole day out of bed.
