Today was an outdoor day for play. Watering the vegetable garden. Learning patience: the tomatoes will take a long, long time to become tomatoes and ripen. A long hike, including a steep climb up a dirt hill. Sunflower seeds into the garden. In the afternoon, a friendly toad who seems to enjoy being touched on the back by a small gentle finger, for a tender massage. Tonight, I read from jinx and heavenly calling online and had a good time. Thank goodness for a mutual nap with the special one.
