#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
My daughter brought me my coffee in bed, and the special one scooted in beside me to have his breakfast in bed. It was, for me, a slow rising from a deep sleep, anxiety dreams, and the pain in my lower back. I had opened a window for the fresh air of almost spring and my room was freezing. No walk, no swim. But my massage therapist, Angela, gave me an appointment and I whisked over to her. By mid-afternoon, after my long walk with Charlie in the meadow, I could move freely again! And it wasn’t the Advil. My back felt so much better, I could move without acute pain. I felt so terrific! So grateful! So amazed. I believe it must have been the magic of Angela’s intense massage. Thank goodness for Angela! And I was very careful the rest of the day, and didn’t lift or rough-house with the special one. Play Lab tonight, powerful, as usual. I hope to swim tomorrow. No pain meds tonight. Tomorrow, the first day of spring!
