Playa Peladas Beach

Awake at 4:00 spontaneously, and so I rose before anyone else in the household. I had to proof the final manuscript. It looks terrific; and it is being printed now! A nice start to the day before sunrise. Then, Frank, and then one by one, the household wakes up. Some off to tennis, some off to walk to the beach. I walk with my friend who arrived recently and she was unwell for the first day or two, and this was our first walk. It’s so fun to take newcomers down the dirt road to the splendor of the beach through the thick foliage. Also, yoga in the early afternoon. We try a new place, four of us, and it’s an excellent class. A late afternoon swim in the ocean with Frank and Liz in the big surf. I get just the right amount of swimming today. Dinner with friends, and the day is spent, and I have been up so early my eyes are starting to close by the end of the meal. The night sky is full of stars, stars, stars and the promise of a flawless morning to wake into.
